Sara Cartmill serves as the Clinical & Program Director at Capital Clubhouse Inc. She has over 30 years of non-profit experience working in the District of Columbia, in both direct service and program management, with a focus on mental health and wellness, housing, and homelessness services. Sara values being a part of a supportive community that invites everyone’s participation and builds connections. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker, and an advocate for equity and access to information and resources.

Jeffery Crook
Program Associate
Before joining Capital Clubhouse Inc. as a Program Assistant, Jeffery Crook earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Studies and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus while studying abroad in Germany. He lived and worked overseas for more than five years in Germany and Hungary, gaining global experience in education, media, event promotion, and international travel. Jeffery began his professional career as Director of Advertising Sales for the Budapest Business Journal, an experience that shaped his global perspective on business and economic development. After relocating to Baltimore in 2003, he founded Bethink Communications, a boutique public relations firm, and later launched his art and design practice, The Artist J3FF3RY™. Jeffery remains deeply committed to behavioral health advocacy through his involvement with B’More Clubhouse, Behavioral Health System Baltimore, and his recent work as a Peer Recovery Coach.

Zoë Bramble
Marketing & Communications VISTA
Zoë Bramble is committed to supporting and uplifting underserved communities through compassionate service and resource connection. She has served in a variety of impactful roles across nonprofit organizations such as SAFE Alternative, The Nolita Project, Public Allies DC, and Carpenter’s Shelter—where she supported communities as a volunteer, an outreach coordinator, and a program manager.
​Currently, she serves as a VISTA Volunteer focused on Marketing & Communications at Capital Clubhouse, using storytelling and strategy to amplify the voices and experiences of its members. Her work is rooted by a mission to dismantle systemic oppression and create more equitable opportunities for all by leading with empathy and purpose, always striving to build a more connected and empowered community.
