On September 12, 2019 Capital Clubhouse charter members, staff, Board of Directors, and members of the DC City Council, and greater DC community celebrated the official Grand Opening  for Capital Clubhouse marking Capital Clubhouses official certification from the DC Department of Behavioral Health allowing it to expand and commence full operations in service of the residents of Washington DC and become the newest, of over 300 mental health Clubhouses worldwide.
